The Infiniti is one of the most respected lines of luxury autos in the world today. A division of the Nissan Motor Company, Infiniti caters to the US market and over 15 other countries, but is not used in Japan itself. Created to provide Nissan with an upgraded line of luxury vehicles, the Infiniti has gained much in praise over the years for the emphasis on high quality, style and performance.
The Infiniti line of autos was introduced into the US market in 1989, targeting the premium or luxury vehicle market. This was due in part as a response to the Japanese government imposing export restraints which made it more profitable to sell more expensive types of vehicles in the US. As Infiniti became more established in the US market, they began to expand their line of vehicles and challenge Acura and Lexus for the luxury car market. By the turn of the 21st century, Infiniti further expanded their line of sports luxury cars and today is seen as one of the most vaunted of all premium car manufactures, including luxury sports cars, SUV, CUV, and other models as well.
Currently, the Infiniti line of vehicles encompasses a large number of high quality models. While not fully represented, what follows is a list of some of the better vehicles in the Infiniti line, including the first generation (S50) and second generation (S51).Infiniti G25, G35 (V35 CV35), G25, G37 (V36 CV36 J50), EX (J50), M35 M45 (Y50), M37 M56 (Y51), JX (L50), QX56. Plus, all Infiniti vehicles come with options that have proven to be quite popular with their customers, including larger, more powerful engines, deluxe interior additions, pin stripe design, added lights and more.
