About Aston Martin

Certainly one of the most recognizable names in luxury sports cars, Aston Martin is one of England’s most honored automotive manufacturers. Perhaps best known as the transportation of the world’s most famous fictional spy, the Aston Martine line is recognized for providing powerful performance, sophisticated style and the utmost comfort for sports cars. Featuring a line of sedan and coupe models, the current series of Aston Martin vehicles include the vaunted DBR9, DBRS9, and the V8 Vantage N24. Current racing versions include the Aston Martin Vantage GT2 and Aston Martin Vantage GT4, two of the most powerful racing models in the world. The vaunted Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3 has also turned heads as one of the most powerful street vehicles on the market.

Founded in 1913 by Robert Bamford and Lionel Martin, the Aston Martin company got part of its name from Aston Hill, where Martin raced in his specials from time to time. The actual first vehicle produced by the company was a conversion of a 1908 Isotta-Fraschini that included a new four cylinder Coverntry-Simplex engine. The first World War interrupted the manufacturing process, which was resumed after the war where Aston Martin focused on producing high performance vehicles. Developing racing vehicles helped establish several speed records, but the strain on the business led to several changes in ownership and Lionel Martin leaving the company. It took a tractor manufacturer, Sir David Brown to “save” the company after the end of the Second World War. The focus turned to stylish, luxury sports cars which flourished in the 1950s and 1960s. By the turn of the 21st century however, Aston Martin underwent many changes in ownership and is now currently partnered with Mercedes-AMG under the banner of Prodrive.

Impact of Carbon Fiber Parts on Aston Martin

New versions of the Aston Martin now include carbon fiber auto parts that provide stronger, more impact resistant and a lessening of weight that provides more power, speed and performance for the vehicle. Carbon fiber automotive and aftermarket parts with twill weave are twice as strong as steel while weighing less than 1/4th the amount. Here are just some of the Aston Martin carbon fiber Accessories and parts available: Air Scoop Duct, Air Intake Box Scoop, Eye Lids & Eyebrows, Mirror Covers Shells, Interior Dash Panel, Interior Door Panel, Door Pillar Panels, Trunk Spoiler, Rear Spoiler, Rear Wing, Engine Bay Cover, Rear Bumper Diffuser, plus more. Current coupe and sedan versions of the Aston Martin line are highly popular among fans of luxury sports vehicles and feature options such as pin stripe and performance packages. The epitome of style, class, quality, power and performance, the Aston Martin line will continue to grow and thrive in today’s automotive world.
