The vehicle also has distinctive triple round headlights that give it a sharp look.

German tuning company 9ff developed the GT9-R using the automotive parts and design of the Porsche 911 for inspiration. The 1120-horsepower model is capable of tearing down the highway at 257 miles per hour. The vehicle starts at $695,000 and only 20 will be manufactured. The small number is due to the fact that 9ff custom designs the exterior of each GTR-9 to the exact specifications of the buyer, letting the driver select custom headlights, taillights and more. This car ties the Ultimate Aero for the fourth place position.

4. SSC Ultimate Aero:

Made by SSC North America, a company you might better know by its former name "Shelby SuperCars," the Ultimate Aero was verified by the Guinness Book of World Records as being the fastest car in the world in 2007, and it held the title until July 2010. The vehicle has been clocked at speeds as fast as 257 miles per hour and has a number of cool features in terms of its autoparts and body, including its Delorian-style vertical doors and stylish headlights. SSC is determined to take back the fastest vehicle in the world title, so we'll have to keep an eye on their Tautura, which is currently in the last stages of the design and production phase of manufacturing.

The Agera R is unique among other super cars not just because it can travel at speeds of 260 miles per hour and can go from 0 to 60 in 2.9 seconds but also because it's made to handle in the snow. Of course to get those special features, you'll need to pay more than the base price of $1.6 million for this stylish super vehicle.

The vehicle has an array of stylish car accessories to match its top-of-the-line Narrow Angle 8-Liter W16 engine. With its look and power, it's no surprise that the Veyron Super Sport has a starting price of $2.4 million, making the original Veyron's $1.7 million base price look like a bargain.

1. Hennessey Venom GT:

The Hennessey Venom GT took the title of fastest car in the world in February 2014, and the truth is that we don't actually know how fast this super car can go. When it was tested on a NASA runway, it reached speeds of 270 miles per hour; however, the test track was only 7 miles long, so it's likely that the Venom GT could surpass its own record. The starting price of the vehicle is $1 million, and it has a very distinctive aerodynamic design complemented by unique oval head-lamps.

While you may not have the resources to purchase one of the fastest cars in the world, you can mod your own vehicle using these super cars as inspiration. Projector headlights, angel-eyes, halo lights and other custom auto lighting can give your car that distinctive style.
